This one is going to be short and simple. I'll share my favourite poem and we'll meet on the other side for a quick discussion:
I bargained with life for a penny
And life would pay no more
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store
For life is just an employer
He gives you what you ask
But once you have set the wages
Why, you must bear the task
I worked for a menial's hire
Only to learn, dismayed
That any wage I had asked of life
Life would have willingly paid
- Jessie Bell
To me, this means: you get what you ask for out of life. You get what you choose. You get will get out of life what you decidedly want.
The manifestation believer in me also thinks it means I can have anything I want in life. There are no limits.
Either way, I love this poem because it reminds me that I am allowed to request what I want out of my life. I am in charge. I have a worth and I decide what it is. And I will get that.
